Chandler's Mission

My mom asked for a picture this week.  I turned and took this one of Elder Dansie Don't have a lot of time, so this'll be short. We had a good week, did some interchanges with our Zone Leaders, and had a great day of work with Elder Patterson! He goes home in a week, so may he rest in peace. Also it's been raining so much lately! I've partly missed the rainy season because it's not nearly as hot outside, but at the same time, wet socks smell  really bad  at the end of the day. I'm really short on time, but I love you all, the Church is true!! Elder Jensen

Intercambio Mania: Tuesday morning we got a call from the Assistants saying that they wanted to do an intercambio with us after our district meeting! So I packed my bag and spent the day (and night) in an area called Carrizal with Elder Leyva! (I forgot my camera, so no pictures... sorry) It was really fun and we worked  really hard . We also talked about some of the challenges we've been having in my district, my companionship, the zone, etc. and I got a lot of good advice and direction. It was an awesome learning experience. When I got home Wednesday morning, I unpacked and packed again because I had planned an intercambio with some Elders in my district so I spent all day Wednesday with Elder Dansie in Germania, and we had a good day too. Then, Wednesday afternoon I got a call from the Zone Leaders ...

Chandler has been sick all week and didn't do much more than throw up:).  But here are some pictures the Mission President's wife took of the conference they just had. She posted a great video too, but in that you can't see him, he's the piano music in the background! Get better soon, Elder Jensen

Hey folks! Hope everyone is doing well back home (and also hope all is well for y'all who are also serving missions rn) An update of my life: We had transfers two weeks ago and I've got a new companion, Elder Murillo from El Salvador. It's been an interesting adjustment, and we're still trying to get into a good rhythm together. I am still in love with our ward, Manantial, and last week they called a bunch of ward missionaries, so we're hoping to have a lot more support and to be able to find more people to teach! We've got some good plans, but we're definitely in need of a lot of prayers, so if you could send some my way, they'd be much appreciated. I've been studying chapter 6 of Preach My Gospel a lot recently, and I'd highly recommend the Attribute Activity found at the end of the chapter. This week I'm going to be working on Charity and Love, because I definitely need to work on that. Anyway, it's a shorter letter ...
