Chapter 82: I milked a cow

RIP Kobe Hey guys! It's been an interesting week but it has flown by! This week marked the end of my pre-ante-penultimate transfer in the mission so I'm officially in my antepenultimate (3rd to last) transfer! It's crazy how time flies. Also, today I hit 19 months on the mission! Woohoo! A trip to La Paz: Had an interchange this week with Elder Gonda in La Paz to do a couple of baptismal interviews. It was a lot of fun and congrats to Daysi and Hanny for making the decision to be baptized!! Both of their baptismal interviews were so cool because Hanny has been investigating the Church for 2 years now and Daysi has a meager 2 months learning about the Restored Gospel but both have strong testimonies about the Restoration and both are fully committed to living the standards of the Gospel! Way to go! Milking a cow: We've been working with the Salinas Family for a while now. Hermano Francisco is a less-active member...

Chapter 81: The Priesthood

Today the Spirit was strong in our home. With permission from his mission president, Chandler called home and gave two of his closest friends one of the lesson's given to perspective Elder's. The love these boys share is amazing and because of that they are open to Chandler teaching them. I know Sister Robey was grateful and I am sure Brother Young in heaven is equally thankful today.

Chapter 80: Goals

Hey guys! It's been a good week! This week we did some interchanges, so I spent a day with Elder Dansie in his area to work a bit, which was a lot of fun. At night we started talking a bit about goals and the new years and stuff and we set some goals that I feel really good about! Goal setting is a great way to stay motivated and challenge yourself, but only if you're actually committed to keeping them! Multizona: We had a multizone conference on Friday, it was pretty cool. We talked a lot about sins of omission and how sometimes we're not actively breaking the rules, but we're not being obedient either for omitting to do things we know we need to do. So that was cool. Pday Shenanigans: This morning my comp and I went to Cane, a small pueblo about 45 minutes away to go see a big statue of Christ that they have there, so there's some pics coming! Sorry for the short email, but I hope you all have a good week!

Chapter 79: New Decade, New Me

Our First Baptism of the Year Leadership Conference Shinanigans .    Golfing Shenanigans Christmas Shenanigans Hey guys! Happy New Year! Miguel's Baptism: Our friend Miguel got baptized this last week! I'm so glad for the little guy! We've been working really hard with the family to get them to start coming back to church and get active again! Miguel's older brother Luther is now working on making necessary changes in his life to be able to serve a full time mission! I really love this family and it's been a huge blessing to help them return to activity in the Church and start receiving special blessings they've been missing out on. Congrats Miguel! Apart from that, it's been a fairly normal week of finding, teaching, and working! We're hoping to see big things in our zone this month and so far so good! The Church is true ...
