Chapter 67: #Americans Can't Count

Hey guys! Another week has passed by! I now officially have less than 8 months left on my mission! It's crazy how fast time flies. I'm doing well with Elder Taufalele, we're working hard and starting to see some progress with the people we're teaching, unfortunately not a lot of them came to church yesterday, but we're going to blame the explosion on that. So here's a small collection of short anecdotes from this last week: The explosion: Yesterday morning, around 7am a semi-truck carrying a large tank of gasoline to refill a gas station lost control about 1/2 mile away from the church. The truck crashed into a telephone pole and a live wire touched the gasoline and a big explosion followed... it caused a lot of traffic and not a lot of people came to church because of it. We also didn't have any power for most of the day yesterday. I have some crazy pictures, but I'll have to send them next week Americans can't count: In...

Chapter 66: Malo e lelei

Hello!  It has been an awesome week! Transfers: I'm still in Manantial, and still the district leader, but I have a new companion! His name is Elder Taufalele and he's from New Zealand! His family is Tongan and he's been teaching me some Tongan (please refer to the subject). We get along really well and we've been working hard! Luckily for us, the ward missionaries have been doing some visits for us in our week-long absence so we still have people to visit! So we've had a good week of finding and getting to know the members and visiting some references with the ward missionaries! We also had a barbecue with Trochez and the Zone Leaders today, that was lit. I'll send pictures. But anyway I don't realy have too much to tell this week, but I'll think of fun stories to tell next week! Love you all! Elder Jensen
