Chapter 63: Intercambio tras intercambio

Hello hello!
It's been a fun week, I'm healthy again, which is nice.

Intercambio Mania:
Tuesday morning we got a call from the Assistants saying that they wanted to do an intercambio with us after our district meeting! So I packed my bag and spent the day (and night) in an area called Carrizal with Elder Leyva! (I forgot my camera, so no pictures... sorry) It was really fun and we worked really hard. We also talked about some of the challenges we've been having in my district, my companionship, the zone, etc. and I got a lot of good advice and direction. It was an awesome learning experience.

When I got home Wednesday morning, I unpacked and packed again because I had planned an intercambio with some Elders in my district so I spent all day Wednesday with Elder Dansie in Germania, and we had a good day too.
Then, Wednesday afternoon I got a call from the Zone Leaders saying that Thursday morning was Leader's Council and that they were inviting all the district leaders to come, too. So on Thursday morning we met up with Elder Schade (the other district leader in my zone) and we did another division so that our companions could work in our area while we were in the Leader's Council. I didn't get home until Thursday night, when I finally got to sleep in my own bed for a change.

But with all the interchanges, divisions, and the Leader's Council, I've received a lot of good instruction that I hope to be able to apply to my area and to help lift up the missionaries in my district.

Other stuff:
-Today there was a power outage in most of the country from 11am to 2pm so that was interesting. Kinda threw a wrench in our Pday plans.

-El Día del Niño was last Tuesday. All my life I was wondering when was children's day. Turns out in Central America, it's September 10th

-Guava juice is good, but only if you make it right (@Bishop)

Anyway, hope you all have a good week! Make good choices!
Elder Jensen
