Chapter 82: I milked a cow
RIP Kobe
Hey guys!
It's been an interesting week but it has flown by! This week marked the end of my pre-ante-penultimate transfer in the mission so I'm officially in my antepenultimate (3rd to last) transfer! It's crazy how time flies. Also, today I hit 19 months on the mission! Woohoo!
A trip to La Paz:
Had an interchange this week with Elder Gonda in La Paz to do a couple of baptismal interviews. It was a lot of fun and congrats to Daysi and Hanny for making the decision to be baptized!! Both of their baptismal interviews were so cool because Hanny has been investigating the Church for 2 years now and Daysi has a meager 2 months learning about the Restored Gospel but both have strong testimonies about the Restoration and both are fully committed to living the standards of the Gospel! Way to go!
Milking a cow:
We've been working with the Salinas Family for a while now. Hermano Francisco is a less-active member and his wife, Maleni, is not a member. They're a really cool family but they need to get married before Maleni can get baptized. But anyway, Francisco owns a property in a small town (San Sebastian) about 20 minutes away from Comayagua where he keeps his cows. SOOO they invited us to visit the property so this morning we got up at 4am to go offer some service at the "ranch"! It was cool, we milked and fed the cows and helped with some other chores that needed to be done, and all the while got to build relationships with the people we're teaching! Neat!
That's all the interesting stuff I can think of for now, if you have questions, send them my way! Make good choices!
