Leaf bug in my apartment

Hello my devoted fans and followers, a pleasure to address you all once more.

I open this correspondence with unfortunate, yet expected news. I'm gaining weight. As such, Elder Chinchilla and I have committed to stop spending so much of our money in restaurants. Instead, we are now relying on our collective cooking skill to survive the winter together. If we could just get our hands on a crock pot, I'm sure we'd do just fine.

But seriously, we've had some fun cooking experiences this week, I'll send some pictures of when my stir-fry skills saved the day (even though we didn't have any noodles or rice to go along with it. Oh well.)

This week has been really good, but unfortunately it seems that it's the week all of our progressing investigators have gone into hiding, so we've been doing a lot of finding new investigators and working with our recent convert, Jorge, as he prepares for his interview with the Bishop this Sunday to receive the Aaronic Priesthood! Woohoo!

So yea, that's been my week. So here's a funny story.
A few days ago, as we were walking to a gas station on our way to our dinner appointment, we found a GIANT leaf bug. It was huge! We wanted to take pictures of it, but neither one of us had a camera with us. So Elder Chinchilla carefully placed the bug in his backpack and kept him there for the rest of the night until we got home. Then he took the bug out of his backpack in our house and started taking some pictures. Meanwhile, I was getting ready for bed. I assumed that Elder Chinchilla let the bug free outside the house, or that after taking pictures, he'd take it outside. I assumed wrong. So when we woke up in the morning, the bug hanging out on the lightbulb in our room. As we tried to remove it to let it free outside, we learned that this guy can FLY. I've never been so terrified in my life than when this guy took off in my direction. I almost died. But that was a lot of fun, I'll send pictures of the bug.

Anyway hope everyone is doing well and that you all have a good week! Love you!
Elder Jensen
