Chapter 43: Post Transfer Stress

Sorry for not writing last week, I forgot to do a general email.

Two weeks ago we had transfers! It was insane because 5 missionaries left and 19 came in! Also, we had an emergency change of venue for the training meetings with the new missionaries because they were painting the chapel in the building we normally hold it in! (the stake president forgot to mention that bit when he gave us the keys to the building).

But overall the transfer went well. We're still dealing with trying to get materials to the 6 new houses we have in the mission, but that should be taken care of soon.

We've been doing a lot of finding recently, especially because our family of investigators we used to always visit are still on vacation until the end of this week, and we've had some miracles! Last Saturday night we got home and realized that we didn't have any investigators committed to coming to church, which is not a great feeling, but then when we showed up to sacrament meeting the next day, our old ward mission leader brought a friend! After church we talked to her and had a short introductory lesson, and we have another appointment with her tomorrow after church! Miracle.

I've been having a great time with my new companion, Elder Sanchez, he's hilarious. We get so many phone calls every day, so we've picked up the hobby of answering the phone silently and waiting to see how long it takes the other person to realize that we answered. My record is 58 seconds, which is quite surprising, actually.

Anyway I hope all is well back home, make good choices everybody.
I love you all!
Elder Jensen
