Chapter 49: 365 Days Left

Me and Hermano Mauricio, my favorite taxi driver in Tegucigalpa

Photos of the gorgeous views from my area. We're on top of a mountain, which makes for some cool pics, but a lot of uphill walking.

I'm not baggy (trunky) I promise

We've had a good week! We've been doing lots of visits with the bishop or other ward leaders and it's really cool how the members here are really motivated and willing to help us out in the work! This week we're preparing a joven named Roberto for baptism. He's 16 years old and a crazy kid. He loves the Gospel! The other day when we stopped by to visit him, Roberto was there with a less active young man, helping him do the homework from seminary because the less active had missed a lot of classes! I never thought I'd see an investigator of mine tutor a member on the Doctrine and Covenants. It was awesome!

In 365 days, I'll be done with my mission! It's crazy how quickly time is flying. I really am enjoying the mission, and while I miss my family and home, I'm so glad I still have a lot of time left to enjoy the mission.

Sorry that this is a shorter email, mom, but other people would like to use the computer.
