Hello everyone!
Yesterday was my 21st birthday, and the members here made me feel really special! On Wednesday the Rivera Family made us carne asada and pastel de tres leches! It was super delicious! On Friday we made Tacos Mejicanos with Trochez, and yesterday the Sosa Family made us hamburgers and bought an apple pie!! I love these guys.

We also did a lot of work this week! We've been visiting Hermana Dilian and her twin daughters, Estefany and Staysy. They're really positive but it seems something always comes up Sunday mornings when it's time to come to church. But we're going to visit them tonight with their member friends and get them committed to come the church this week.

Had a cool experience while doing a baptismal interview this week - I was interviewing the daughter of a less-active member family to see if she was ready for and understood baptism. In the interview, I asked her if she believed that the Church and Gospel of Jesus Christ had been restored by the prophet Joseph Smith. She told me "yes, because every time I ask God about it, I feel happy." It was such a simple answer from an 11 year-old girl but it was a good reminder of why I'm doing what I'm doing - I'm serving a mission because the Gospel makes me happy. I share the Gospel with other people so that they will be happy. God's plan is the Plan of Happiness. It was a tender moment for me to reflect on think about how happy I am to know the truth, and to serve the Lord here in Honduras.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! I love you all! Make good choices!
