Chapter 86: I'm not baggy but...
...I only have 100 days until I'm home
We've had a good week this week! Had five people we're teaching in church yesterday which is a new record in this area! It's always interesting to evaluate the different challenges in different areas, in my last area we could always get people into church (we'd literally bring them in by the truckful), but we'd struggle in getting them to commit to baptismal dates. Here, it's not so easy to get people to church, but we put our trust in the Lord and give it our best!
But something that was really cool is that Yamilet and Rosy came to church! We met Yamilet about 2 weeks ago and have only taught her a couple times. On Saturday we went to teach her and we met her neighbor, Rosy and taught the two of them and invited them to come to church. AND THEY BOTH CAME it was amazing. We literally met Rosy 2 days ago and she came! So we're excited to keep teaching them and hope they also keep other commitments! Pray for them!
We've also got a baptism scheduled with William, 11 (almost 12) years old, on Saturday! Pray for him too!
Aside from that, we've been working with a few other people and have had to let some old people go, sadly not everyone wants to learn about the Restored Gospel, but we have faith to make some new friends and to see some new faces in church!
I'm loving the mission and am having a great time! If any of y'all have any questions about the mission or Honduras or Spanish or anything, I'm willing to answer!
Have a good week everyone! Pictures coming soon!
