Chapter 89: Si me ven, voy camino de Belen

Food storage!
Hey guys! Kinda crazy how much the world has changed in these last 7 days. Here's what's new with me:
Transfers:
I'M FINALLY TRAINING A NEW MISSIONARY!!!! Woohoo! His name is Elder Nabaum, he's from Heber City, Utah. He's a great guy! I'm opening an area in a city called Juticalpa! It's really hot and humid here, but I'm loving it! We're assigned to a small branch called Belen (hence the subject line) and so far so good! We've still only met a few of the members (because thanks to Coronavirus, we didn't have sacrament meeting yesterday) but we're out here doing our best! I'm really happy and we totally called it this transfer! We've been predicting this transfer for a couple weeks now!
What is weird though is realizing that this is my last area, and my last companion. I've only got 11 weeks left, and I'm trying to make the most of it!
Coronavirus: There are currently 6 confirmed cases in Honduras, but people out here are going a little crazy buying tons of food in bulk, which doesn't help things. But as a precaution, our mission president has asked us to buy 2 weeks of food storage in case they need to quarantine the missionaries. We don't know if they will or not, but don't worry, whatever happens, I'm sure I'll be taken care of!
So all in all, everything is going pretty well! I'm happy, healthy, and working hard! I'm trying to take advantage of the few days I have left and I'm super grateful that the Lord heard my prayers and let me train!
Hope all is well back home, stay safe, avoid the germs, and make good choices!
Elder Jensen
