Chapter 23: We're not in Kansas Anymore
As the Secretary of the mission I have a camera on the computer!
New companion, Elder Chinchilla
Important information:
My P days are now on Saturday
I had transfers a week early
I'm no longer in the tiny town of La Esperanza
I am now a mission secretary
I'm companions with Elder Chinchilla, my best friend in the mission
I have a washing machine (hallelujah)
What a crazy week this has been!
Elder Nolasco and I received a call on Wednesday that I was going to have an emergency transfer and that I needed to be at the mission offices at 10am the next day to receive my new assignment. That's right, I'm an office missionary now.
It's been super crazy this week, Comayagüela is completely different than La Esperanza. My new area is called Jardines de Toncontín and it's awesome.
I've spent these last couple days learning the ropes, doing a ton of work to prep for transfers next week and adjusting to my new area and assignment, but I couldn't be happier, I'm having an awesome time with new stuff happening every day.
I'm also so grateful to be in a big city. Like I said, life is completely different out here than in my last area. For example, yesterday we went to Wendy's and today we're going to Denny's for lunch. I would say that I'm going to gain the weight back that I lost in La Epseranza, but this city is a lot hotter and built on top of mountains so we're literally climbing hills anytime we go anywhere. It's awesome!
Love you all, Make good choices!
Elder Jensen
