Chapter 32: Multizones and the Sort

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Happy Pday.

First things first, my Pday has changed backed to Monday, like normal people. I wasn't really of fan of Saturday Pdays for a few reasons and our president gave Elder Chinchilla and I permission to change it.

Anyway, this week has been pretty good. Tuesday and Wednesday we had multizone conferences and then leader's counsel that went waayyyy later than expected. For this leaders' counsel they invited all the district leaders from the mission too, so when the meeting lasted until 6:00pm, all the Elders from areas far away (like La Esperanza, for example) had to stay the night in the city. It was fun to see some friends and my old companion.

The rest of this week was pretty typical, office work followed by missionary work. We've had to drop a lot of investigators these last couple weeks, either because they have asked us to stop visiting or because they haven't been progressing or keeping commitments, so we've been doing a lot of finding this week.

One really good investigator we have is named Henry. He's 23 years old, single and lives with his very evangelical mother. He's been really receptive and is really interested in the Book of Mormon and the Plan of Salvation and yesterday he came to church! We have a baptism date set up with him, and we're going to be teaching him the commandments this week!

Anyway, that's pretty much all I can think of for this week, remember to read your scriptures and say your prayers!

p.s. My SD card in my camera may have become corrupted, I'm trying now to recover some of the files, so I'll see what pictures I can send this week.
